These shots taken at the Barrington Club’s dams, Barrington Tops, NSW Australia.
The dams are fed from springs which are basically the source of the Hunter River, which flows through the Hunter Valley and out at Newcastle.
The club stocks these dams each year with rainbows, which grow up to around the 3lb mark.
They have a lodge which sleeps 7 and is well utilised by the members, even though it’s a 3-4 hour drive from Newcastle.
