After their competition last Saturday I knew nobody would believe me so I contacted the clubs for evidence of the numbers landed… Auckland club replied below. Anglers might notice the pools have not been identified but most regular Tongariro fishos will recognise the location up river:

I have collected some details of our interclub competition between Auckland FlyFishing Anglers Club and the North Shore Fly Fishing Club.  Held on the Tongariro River annually. 

The results of the competition for 2024:  AFAC won the Jill Mandeno Memorial Cup back from the NSFF club after they claimed it in 2023.  
There were 10 anglers from each club competing and each team landed over 100 fish each on the day.
