There are still some anglers blissfully unaware of the closure of the Blue Pool Road – located about 7 km south of Turangi.  Hopefully the images below will convince them the access is “temporarily” closed to anglers.

The harvesting of the adjoining forest prevents anglers access to TLB (True Left Bank) of Poutu Pool, Boulder Reach, Big Bend, Fan Pool, Boulder Pool, Blue Pool, The Reef, Sand Pool, Whitikau Pool, Fence Pool.
