During 2018, and indeed during the last 14 years, TRM have had so many West Island anglers return again and again, we need to acknowledge their loyalty.  So about two years ago TRM interviewed some inmates to try to identify why they are prepared to travel so far for their fly fishing “fix”.  So for the rest of 2018 we will post their comments on the Tongariro River and Turangi.  It is a good reminder of how special our trout fishing is.
