Another excellent short video clip by Chris with  drone views to illustrate the visual poetry of spey casting etc. – well worth watching.

TRM have traditionally been ever-so-slightly negative about this style of casting as it is so unfair on the trout.

Chris says:  I think that with any hobby, sport or recreation it is always important to strive to up-skill, thereby not only becoming more proficient, but more importantly continually keeping the activity new and interesting. This has been the case for me as I set out to learn to Spey cast. I remain a long way from any degree of proficiency, but so far have thoroughly enjoyed extending my skill base in an activity that I Love.

This video is less about catching fish and more about the enjoyment and poetry of the spey cast…
