SWMBO arrested as a biosecurity threat

Two delightful student officers, Natalie Watts & Mila Ollington, interrogated SWMBO after they identified climbing spindleberry creeping through the TRM boundary hedge.

They are from the WRC (Waikato Regional Council) freshwater and pest plant biosecurity department, issuing severe warnings to criminals like SWMBO for allowing infestation. Meanwhile, I received their blessing for the warning signage at TRM – see photo below.

I suggested the greatest threat of infestation is the Agapanthas that now dominate along the Surf Highway in Taranaki, but they wisely ignored me.

Isn’t it a relief to see Didymo Dave has some better looking assistants…
