Currently the most popular celebrity on social media, so to illustrate the fame and status of our local tackle shop staff, Stevie Wonder… The above photo was taken over seven years ago, in February 2018, during the royal tour by Her Majesty, Dame Didymo Davina. Creel was Her first port of call.

She was chauffered by Murray Cullen, who came over from West Island specially for the event. He sent TRM the photo taken outside Creel Tackle Shop with Steve.

TRM’s classic Bentley was commandeered for the occasion. The tour went as far as Lake Otamangakau to spread the gospel on CCD (Check, Clean Dry). BENY is usually reserved as TRM’s airport taxi to collect VIP overseas anglers in style that other accommodation suppliers cannot hope to match. It is a bit like Creel…
