Next Kids Day at the Trout Centre: 17 September

From the Trout Centre:

Hi all,

The September Fish-Out date has been changed to Sunday 17 th September as the previous date did not suit a lot of the volunteers.

The Fish-Out last month went well,120 fish caught with an average weight of 652 grams, the last School Fish-Out we had last week the average size of the fish was 722 grams, so the fish are doing well.

We will be starting fishing at 10.00 am and the last bookings will be
at 2.00 pm, which worked out well last month.

We will operate the smoker if we get enough volunteers, otherwise we
will be gutting only.

As usual food and drinks will be provided
