Just a reminder… On the weekend one of our inmates found this fly box. So…?
Here is another view of the next compartment…
Over 400 lovingly hand tied fly patterns perfect for the Tongariro… OK?
Thank you to Chris for handing these in.
Fortunately the owner has been found and TRM will courier it to him.
So this is a plea to anglers to be more cautious –
Never ever carry a box of over four hundred hand tied flies onto the river. It is too easy to lose.
There should be a law against it.
Apart from the value – 400 x $2? = say $800 ?, the time and effort to replace them would be a bigger loss.
On right is another small compact box which was found months ago. This will carry every pattern you may need.
Note it also has a small loop to tie it to your tunic or waders. That is all you need.
I am sure you know all this but so many times we have seen anglers proudly carrying their entire fly collection and SWMBO gets concerned after so many get lost.
More lost property?
Only in Turangi… From Tangonui Kingi September 12 Had to crack up at this. Going past this house today just down the road from the town centre and what do I see…3 cows…hahaha…just had to share this!
