Thank you to Dennis:
Hi Ross,
I said I would send you one of my poems so below is one hot off the press.
Excuse the poetic licence.
Fisherman Fred at Tongariro River Motel

Fisherman Fred at Tongariro River Motel,
Found comfort, warmth, and stories to tell.
Ross poured the kettle, Pip brought the cheer,
And Fred felt right at home the moment he got here.
He hung up his waders, kicked back on the bed,
“Best stop I’ve had in ages,” old Fisherman Fred said.
The river hummed softly, the evening sky glowed,
And laughter with Ross and Pip steadily flowed.
A cosy wee haven where good yarns are spun,
Where trout tales grow bigger once the day’s fishing’s done.
So Fred raised a cuppa with a satisfied grin—
At Tongariro River Motel, he felt truly at home within.
