Pierre Aube from Noumea, New Caledonia, with another perfect rainbow trout destined for the freezer.  Pierre is another regular TRM inmate staying at TRM for two weeks fly fishing with Evanik.  They have already booked again to return again in February for another month on the dry fly – in anticipation of cicadas whizzing around by then.

If you wonder why and how these Tongariro Rainbow trout are so quick and put up such a big fight then have a squiz at the size of the tail – no wonder they are so strong and fast.
