During the last two weeks TRM have had the Slovenian team back again.

During the crowded weekend of the Taupo car races they fished for a few days on the Rangitikei River, rafting out of Tarata Fishaway Lodge and spoilt by Stephen & Trudi Mattock in their river retreat. This is highly recommended to all our visitors from overseas for the wonderful Kiwi style accommodation and extraordinary scenery. The Rangitikei trout obliged as well.

Jozef has been returning to TRM and the Tongariro River every season to escape their European winters and knows the region as well as any local guide. But now I am sure the Tarata Lodge will be added on his annual programme as well.

Over the last few weeks TRM have been honoured with so many anglers from overseas to remind us, on a world scale, just how good the trout fishing opportunities are here.
