With petrol prices recently rising, SWMBO (She Who Must Be Obeyed), the motel manager in charge of budgeting, believes she has developed a brilliant scheme to save money on operating the noisy petrol-powered motor mower.

She has encouraged local wildlife to help mow the lawns. These are not the noxious pests that farmers hate. DOC (Department of Conservation) have not complained (yet?) as they are on private land where the grass is sweeter. They are very cost-efficient and do not disturb the inmates with any petrol fumes or noise. If TRM received any complaints that they were a menace, then Juno would have dealt with them. These are now her fluffy friends, too. The Quail are additional security staff employed to warn of any danger.
