This is what school holidays were designed for – a school holiday that Elizabeth Pickford will never forget – her very first trout. 

She was still smiling several hours later.

In total between five of them with Dad (Photographer), Andrew, Eric and Charlotte, and Skipper Mike they all landed their limit. 

The trick was to get there at first light with a beautiful day to follow. What a beautiful way to start the day on Lake Taupo.

The kids were ecstatic.  These are the anglers of the future.

What a great way to make the holiday so enjoyable, educational and memorable.  Family fun.  You can’t beat it.
