Lost luggage?

We are regularly surprised at the items in TRM’s lost luggage department. That is why we try to get all inmates to sign in with contact details so that we can track them down.

Favourite fluffy pillows are regularly left behind. We have even found a lap-top computer hidden away in the cupboard. TRM receives all sorts of requests to recover lost items and thought you might enjoy an inmate’s correspondence this morning:

Neither my wife nor my dog are now speaking to me after I left the mutt’s bed in my cell.

Please do not ask how I can miss something that large. I spent a career travelling internationally  in hotels and airports and have a very over developed habit of checking everything twice when I leave a place. But this may be tuned for small things like wallets, passports and skulls rather than 1 meter diameter dog’s baskets which I rarely if ever took on business trips.

Please feel free to store it until my next internment, keep it or donate it to someone in need.

Could you please also let me know if the dog is still in it. Just let her out, she has a pretty good sense of direction.

SWMBO reply below:

Sorry, we searched Unit 9 but could not find a proper dog bed anywhere…

We found this little saucer which was too small for a real dog…

A real dog’s bed would look like this.
