This is following a request from inmates to thank them for such outstanding service in 2016. 

They are the best team we have ever had at looking after guests requirements and making the management so much easier – particularly for SWMBO and the old tired feeble bloke in the laundry.

To give you an impression of their dedication – on Christmas Day Betty delivered our Christmas dinner cooked traditional hangi style in the hot natural steam at Tokaanu.  We feasted on wild pigeon (from Tegels?) wild pork and wild sheep (?).  Very memorable.  There was so much nourishing hot steaming food that we had to invite other guests who were on their own for Christmas Day (typical fishos!) to help us eat it all.  How many others would get that for Christmas?  We are so lucky.
