Hi Ross,

As we discussed, here are a few photos from our weekend visit to Turangi. We stayed in unit 6, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

We are trying to make it an annual get-together, as it is always such a great time.

We struggled to find fish on the Friday but started finding numbers of both fresh and spent fish in the middle reaches on Saturday afternoon.

We stuck to the same area on Sunday and had a great morning of it, but only managed to pick up a few more Sunday afternoon and Monday morning.

Nevertheless we had a great time like always. Main highlight of the trip was getting our friend who had come all the way from Australia onto a couple of fish.

The size and condition of the fresher fish was excellent, and the few that we put through the smoker were delicious.

Thanks for hosting us and we will be back again next year hopefully.
