
As this “treescape” issue has generated significant concern from TRM bloggers, upset at the incompetence of Taupo Council for their pruning attempts over a year ago, this is to keep everyone informed of their prompt response… See following… If anyone affected wishes to comment then please respond.
Council love community involvement to show how they have consulted with the peasants. What a pity they did not do this before they tried to destroy it in November 2024.
The initial response from nearby residents is relief that the Red Oak has survived and recovered so strongly, so keep Council chainsaw butchers away and let nature repair it.
