TRM usually has to decline so many requests to show promotional videos etc. from other guides in other fishing locations as we have to try to restrict our posts to local stuff. Otherwise, the Tongariro River would not enjoy the prominence it deserves. However, we are occasionally asked to showcase something unusual that will be of interest beyond Turangi… It is extraordinary to see how Kiwi trout fishing guides’ expertise is being targeted in other countries… We even had a pic of one of their guides wearing a lucky TRM hat (To prove that TRM got there first in 2017! – Thanks Kev!) to illustrate NZ’s world-wide reputation!

Long time no see and no hear. This year I was head down putting together a trip to Africa to train the guides at a fishing lodge on the Zambezi on how to be fly fishing guides
